With our main festival rapidly approaching, the CUFF lead programmers gathered to break down all the excellent films that we have in store for the 2022 Calgary Underground Film Festival! We are thrilled to discuss modern classics ranging from the new films from euro-horror auteur Peter Strickland to a documentary on Calgary's friendly local came store The Sentry Box.

We also provide a detailed overview of the 2021 CUFF 12hr Halloween Marathon and provide some recommendations for your October viewing pleasure.
On this month's installment of the CUFFCast, we are joined by Paul Corupe to discuss his extensive online compendium of Canadian genre cinema Canuxploitation and Bret Berg reveals the inspiration for his Museum of Home Video and the great work that's being done by the team at the American Genre Film Archive.

First up, the legendary Colin Geddes of Ultra8 Pictures joins us to discuss his origin story as the superstar film programmer of TIFF Midnight Madness/expert curator for SHUDDER and then we were truly honored to speak with Black Mansion producer extraordinaire Heather Buckley about the wild world of producing special features for companies such as Kino Lorber, Severin & Scream Factory.
This month, the lead programmers of the Calgary Underground Film Festival preview the films playing CUFF 2021 (streaming across Alberta from April 23 – May 2), Nick Prueher of Found Footage Festival joins us to chat about his new board game "Dream Crush", Devereaux Milburn discusses the influence of Japanese extreme cinema on his rural horror HONEYDEW, and we speak with CUFF artists Tank Standing Buffalo and Trey Madsen about this year's beautiful festival animation and poster.
