The CPSC and Cuisinart are recalling Cuisinart Compact Blender & Juice Extractor Combos Model CBJ-45. The blender blade assembly may loosen and detach from the base leading to laceration hazards. About 66,000 of these appliances were sold in the US and about 1500 were sold in Canada. Stop using the blender portion of this appliance and contact Cuisinart at 1-877-339-2534 or via email at [email protected] to receive a replacement blade assembly and installation instructions. The juice extractor portion of this combo is unaffected.
