More than a writer, Christa has spent more than a decade connecting Buffalo chefs. She developed connections to the James Beard House in NYC, to the farms and farmers of Western New York, and to other chefs via a series of industry nights and cooking competitions, as well as conferences here in Buffalo and in Toronto.
Fun Fact about the song "I want candy" by Bow Wow Wow is that, the song isn’t actually about “Candy” but is written about a woman named “Candy Johnson” and her bodacious body/dance moves.
