Young and Getting Wiser

CULTIVATING CONNECTION, PART THREE | Connection with the world + gratitude

Listen Later

Welcome to the first-ever series on Young and Getting Wiser called Cultivating Connection! In this four-episode series, tune in as we dive into topics surrounding the power of connection each week. Every episode will expand on ways that we can enhance our interpersonal connections in life. We started with Connection to Self, moved into Connection to Others, now on Connection to the World (this episode!), and finishing off with conversations around Maintaining Your Connection next week. ✍🏼

In this third episode on Connection with the World, I discuss how being present and engaged in your life is key to happiness, the importance of gratitude and how to begin implementing it, and the value that an elevated shifted world perspective brings. Life can be hard, and through this it's important to see your inner and outer world in a positive way.

I also explain my take on how everything is connected down to a philosophical level, and share my adoration for nature - the tool that is always there for us to feel a sense of connection.

My advice is based on things that have worked for me in the past, things that have worked for friends and family, and general pieces of knowledge pulled from psychology and awareness. Staying present and creating intentional space for what we already have is truly a tough skill, and I’m super excited to talk about this and help us all work on this journey to deeper, more fulfilling connection with the world around us ☺️
