Ali is an artist through and through and she takes us on her journey of finding her creative path. She opens about going to University, working in different creative environments before becoming a teacher and how she ultimately found balance between creating beautiful pieces and molding small minds.

We chatted about changing our minds and journeys, how to move through creative slumps and letting go of the hustle.

ABOUT ALI PILLI:

Ali Pilli is an abstract painter whose work explores minimalistic approaches to understanding human psychology along with colour and their connection to the natural world. Painting with intentionality Ali creates calm and playful art works inspired by experiences with nature, traveling and photography. Her artist practice examines the intersection of colour, texture and design inviting viewers to consider their own appreciation of surrounding colours and design aesthetics.

Based in Toronto, ONT - Ali Pilli is a painter and creative. Ali's practice explores a range of personal and luxe interior decor & design projects. Design, balance, flow, and harmony often serve as a basis for the creative, textured, and minimal style found in her paintings. Creatively, Ali's work has been centered around collaborations with interior designers, home decorators, and decor brands including Sunday's Furniture, Fliphaus, and The Property Stylist as well as gallery representation with KISMET Art Co. and Tacit Collective.
