I had the honor and privilege to sit down with Alma L. and to learn more about her and her heritage as a Mexican-American. There is beauty in learning, and even speaking with someone, from a different culture outside of ones own. In this episode, I was able to do that, especially learning more about Day of the Dead. Which is an observed holiday of those of Mexican heritage, it is also observed in other countries as well, but originated in Mexico. Alma and I also talked about what her upbringing was like in America and how her family kept her rooted in Mexican culture. We also speak on traveling as well, as Alma is a explorer of many countries. This episode is filled with great dialogue and information. Be sure to listen and I hope you can take a few things away from it as well. And Alma, thank you some much again for your time and sharing more about your culture.
