Blockbusters have made dramatic shifts in the last fifteen years or so. They went from being gigantic tent pole films made by pop minded film makers to gigantic comic book movies put out like products from a factory. That said we are rapidly approaching the anniversary of one of the biggest blockbusters of all time, Jurassic Park. So, I sat down with the one and only Skyrise Excellence, Justin Ruiss and we talked all about the movie, it's ins and outs and what makes it such an incredible film.

This week we are back to discussing MUSIC! I asked my good buddy (and host of several different podcasts for Sword Chomp) Shea Layton to join me on this episode because of his love of music and experience as a drummer to talk about one of the greatest albums of all time as you are probably aware of by the title of the episode and the thumbnail. We are, of course, talking about 1973’s The Dark Side Of The Moon by Pink Floyd.
So in case the Episode Title or the thumbnail have not given it away yet, this week we are here to talk about 2019’s A Plague Tale: Innocence. We are breaking our rule of 3 years having passed. We’re doing it for good reason though as Plague Tale is a really great game that has sequel scheduled for next year AND was released in remastered fashion earlier this year.

This week we are yet again taking on a completely new and different medium, this time being the comic book or graphic novel. This week we’re also talking about what some consider the greatest graphic novel to ever be written, 1987’s The Watchmen.
With Halloween just ahead of us, We… I thought it would be nice to dive into a horror movie for a celebration of the holiday. And what better a way to do it then with my all time favorite horror flick and holiday themed masterpiece. I’m, of course, talking about 1978’s masterpiece Halloween.
This week we have a special guest here, MR. Sean O'Keeffe Jr. to bring in his special musical expertise and talk about music! And this week, we’re here to talk about one of the greatest albums of the 80s. 1981’s Moving Pictures by Rush.
The 2017 Giant Sparrow developed game What Remains Of Edith Finch was a game that came across the desk of our host earlier this year and he was floored by it. The story that Edith Finch tells is one of sorrow, but also of joy. There are a number of emotionally resonant pieces of writing in the game that speak to life and death and all of the vagueries in between. And that is what we plan to discuss for you today!
