Our culture today is populated by a class of people who were not recognized as a special group until the 1950's. They are the teenagers — the eternal adolescents. Grown ups are extinct according to Diana West, author of Death of the Grown Up. In this episode we highlight some peculiar characteristics of teenagers and the challenges they face in a society that demands certain responsibilities and duties.
