Episode 2.5
In this episode we examine the origins of the term 'culture wars' and the debate around the existence of such a thing. We focus mostly on the United Kingdom by tracing the sociopolitical histroy of post-war Britain up to today, in order to give some context to modern British culture. In this episode, we have tried to stray away from specific 'culture war' issues and, instead, we discuss the reasons for rising tensions in spaces online like social media and whether there are clues to the cause of this in the experiences of past generations.
This episode is presented by Megan and discussed with Claire.
