As a Nashville native Ryan Bailey grew up with a love of the city and its natural landscapes, which is why he started Cumberland Kayak, an urban adventure company creating sustainable attractions and donating 2% of sales to local environmental nonprofits. He then set his sights on moving his family forklift business, The Bailey Company, toward zero-waste and lowering the construction industry's carbon footprint.
