Governor Andrew Cuomo says the legislature will still gather in Albany this week, even as two state lawmakers were found to be sick with the Coronavirus. Cuomo also ordered many non-essential state workers downstate to stay home as part of the effort to slow person-to-person spread of Covid-19.

On Sunday, officials also agreed to close New York City's public school system - the largest in the country.
