Nikki G. and Andon T. talk with Raynard Lozano, co-owner of Curbside Kitchen, a Filipino-American fusion food truck in the San Francisco Bay area. It has been six years since the last time we have hung out with Raynard in person and during that time him and his brother, Russ, have made their dreams come true, and involved the entire family in the process. Raynard recommends the Curbside Burger, which he eats at least twice a week, and Mom's Lumpia, Filipino-style egg rolls, which Mrs. Lozano makes for the food truck. They are currently set up at Armistice Brewing Company Wednesday through Sunday. It was interesting to learn how the food truck came to be, what work went into it and still goes into it, and that it is a family affair. Raynard is always a delight and we can't wait to see him again, either trying out his delectable food in Richmond, CA, or when he makes his way back to Buffalo for a visit.
