An authoritative exposition of success in the foreign exchange markets - as well as a terrific read.
I loved this book. My interest stemmed from my time as an official in the UK Governmentâs Department of Trade and Industry in the mid-1990s responsible for reforming Company Law on Disclosure of Interests in Shares. The London Stock Exchange and LIFFE market makers wanted exemptions from disclosure of their positions so I had to understand the issues. Currency trading is not a million miles away from trading stocks.
If you thought âCurrency Kingsâ might be dry, think again. At times it reads like a vivid thriller. Itâs also penetratingly clear and very focused on how to win. The secrets of the Currency Kings - and, importantly, their respective kingdoms - are revealed. Yet anyone with an interest in the FX markets can follow the authorâs thesis. His real life experience shines through. A great read!
I did like the discussion about how the wide spread and hidden ...
The book was OK.. I have spent most of my career in FX. Too much talk about having an edge making money and focused on guys that made a billion. An edge helps but money can be made without an edge. I did like the discussion about how the wide spread and hidden fees eats away at profits.
