The Princess Royal Trust (PRT) for Carers provides support across Hampshire for Hampshire County Council. 

Kerry Hearsey from the PRT spoke about the work they do at the Current Affairs Group - usually held at One Tree Books but on this day at the Winton House Centre, 

Kerry spoke about what support if provided  - including a 24 hour helpline - but, she said, even the words used can be a barrier as people don't see themselves as 'carers'. but as family members looking after someone.

There is support for people who look after a relative or friend and she talks about these services with Mike Waddington.
