Ashlyn is joined by actor and voice artist Jarrett Johnson — a multi-hyphenate creative whose work spans film, television, and vocal performance. From on-screen roles in To Go Box, America’s Consequence: The Game Show, and Suga West 2 to bringing characters to life through voice work, Jarett is building a career rooted in versatility and storytelling.

You might know Gilmore Girls for Stars Hollow, but today we’re giving the spotlight to one of the creative forces who helped build the world you remember. In this episode, Ashlyn sits down with set designer “Jersey” — a behind-the-scenes legend whose craft has shaped some of TV’s most beloved spaces.

Today on Currently Screaming, we go deep with actor Tobias Icasatti — the Argentine talent whose journey has taken him from the world of international screens to roles in Stranger Things, NCIS, All American: Homecoming, Fighting Olympus, and more.

In this episode of Currently Screaming with Ashlyn, we step behind the curtain with celebrated art director Jason Shumway, the creative mind behind some of the most visually striking and emotionally resonant environments in modern entertainment.

Together, Jason and Ashlyn explore how world-building actually begins — from early sketches to final frames — and what it takes to translate story, character, and emotion into unforgettable visual design. Jason shares the real creative challenges no one talks about, the thrill of collaborating with visionary directors and crews, and how fandom culture continues to shape the way stories are made and received today.

They also dive into how his personal inspirations, creative discipline, and love for storytelling fuel his work… plus a few behind-the-scenes gems that fandoms will absolutely eat up.

If you’re obsessed with process, aesthetics, or the intersection of pop culture and craft, this conversation is a must-listen. Ashlyn sits down with Jason not just as an interviewer, but as a fellow creative who understands the magic behind the magic — making this one of the most insightful and energizing episodes yet.

This week on Currently Screaming, Ashlyn is joined by dancer, creator, and soon-to-be TV star LaVonna Laviola. Now, she’s stepping into a new era as one of the faces of the upcoming show Do It For The Grand, coming soon.

If you love dance, pop culture, or behind-the-scenes magic, you’ll love this one.

From his work as a camera operator to the stories behind his one-of-a-kind Hollywood memorabilia, Paul shares a fascinating look at life on set and the treasures he’s collected along the way.

This week on Currently Screaming with Ashlyn, I’m joined by Rini Bell—beloved by Gilmore Girls fans as Lulu, Kirk’s quirky and kindhearted partner in Stars Hollow. Beyond her time on one of TV’s most iconic shows, Rini has acted in a variety of projects and is now pouring her creativity into a brand-new venture: her own line of handmade soaps.

We chat about her experiences on set, the joy of playing Lulu, and how she’s found a fresh outlet for storytelling and artistry through her soap brand. It’s a heartfelt, fun conversation that fans (and fellow makers) won’t want to miss!
