Mark Pilgrim interviewed Judy Wearne, executive head at Curro Monaghan to discuss the school’s new assisted learning stream that will be available from January 2020 for grade 2-4 learners (alongside their mainstream offering). During the discussion, Judy unpacked assisted learning, what it is and who will benefit from it. This stream will equip learners with the literacy and numeracy competencies within the CAPS curriculum to ultimately return to mainstream schooling within 2-3 years.
