The book of Proverbs chapter 20 verse 20 says these words, “Whoever curses his father or his mother, his lamp will be put out in deep darkness.“

Now the principle here is very simple. God’s Word declares that when men, women, and children begin to defy the structure of the family as God ordained the family to be; those people and that nation become confused, wondering in the dark without any way to find light and direction in their time of confusion.

In the last chapter of the Old Testament, God says that He will counter this darkness by calling the fathers back to the children, and the children back to their fathers. Oh, if we could just hear the heart of God in this generation, how much He wants to bring restoration to our homes and our nation.
