Our protagonists, Hazel, Perkins, and Pastor Jackson take the wagon to Musky, listening to old man Grimes tell a tale about his encounters with ghostlies, ghoulies, and longlegged beastlies, and things that go bump in the night... but when he finishes his tale, they were finally at the edge of Musky, dropping off the trio... having them walk to the country store where trouble is only beginning to brew...
