On today’s episode, I’m joined by recording engineer/producer and one of the founding members of Austin’s psychedelic rock/ cosmic soul band, Curtis Roush of The Bright Light Social Hour. Curtis and I talk about music and the formation of TBLSH, his experiences with Austin organizations, HAAM and SIMS and how his band went to band therapy at one point to support them with mental health, as well sharing stories from our personal experiences with psychedelics.
Over the last 16 years, Curtis has experienced highs and lows, and his vulnerability and openness to share his personal journey with mental health, led to me sharing one of my personal stories that I’ve never shared publicly until now. I want you to know that this was something I didn’t necessarily plan on sharing but the timing in the moment felt right, and I’m grateful to Curtis for not only being an advocate for women, but being able to go there in our conversations and address issues like this head on.
Please enjoy this very special episode with Curtis Roush of The Bright Light Social Hour, and if you could please rate, leave a review and share this episode with others!
