Iron by iron is sharpened, And a man sharpens the face of his friend.

Sharpens a mans face… what exactly does that mean… it means if you have men or mentors in your life who pour into you and are honest and direct and hold you accountable it will affect how you see the world. It will affect your face….

He who lives only to benefit himself confers on the world a  benefit when he dies. Tertullian

The seven mindsets of mental toughness that must be modeled and mentored through other men… if you want to be on the fast track. 

Competetive, a competitor will find a way to win. 

Confident, Have a can do attitude. 

When I compete in my own mind I am the favorite.

Control. Maintain pose, concentration and emotions under pressure and challenges. 

Committed , focus time and energy on your golals and dreams be self directed and highly motivated.

Compusure, know how to stay focused and deal with adversity. 

Courage, must be willing to take a risk. It takes courage to grow up and achieve your full potential.

Consistency, possess an inner strength they often play their best then the feel their worst. There are no excuses.

Excellence is never an accident. It is always the direct result of high intention, sincere effort and intelligent directon, skillful  execution and the vision to see obstacles as opportunities… and friends who will mentor these for you and hold you accountable to them. 

Men if you are not involved in deep friendships then you are not growing. If you are not growing you are not leading and if you are not leading then you are following when you are following you are at the mercy of whomever is leading.  Garth Heckman
