Got a little dark in this week's(?) episode, it was with the best intentions possible though. A local man suffered a tragic accident in an area where (and during a time when) I usually go for walks, but the only given article gave a vague recollection that left the poor guy in a bad light, as far as trying to survive goes. He fell into the harbour at a little after 8 in the morning, had a female jump in and attempt to help him, a donut buoy was thrown at him, and the authorities showed up within ten minutes, all on a fairly clear morning (weather-wise). I have no idea what else happened to him other than he didn't put the help to use, but I do know the woman made it out alive. The article does say he went under the dock at one point without saying whether or not that was intentional, but the way the fire chief handled the interview made it seem more accidental than purposeful. Much like me, he was probably a little unsure of what went wrong. I also had a fire drill at 2 in the morning before shooting this, so I vented a little about that situation as well. Biggest takeaways from the episode are swimming lessons (ESPECIALLY if you don't like water), swimming lessons (ESPECIALLY if you live near large bodies of water), swimming lessons (ESPECIALLY if you don't think this man had sufficient help), and definitely the three from the title. If you wanna see my fugly mug, check out the ol' YT!
