Cyan Forensics, an Edinburgh, Scotland, UK-based startup providing a tech platform for police investigators to find evidence quickly, raised £1.3m in funding.

Backers included Triple Point Investment Management, Mercia, SIS Ventures, the Scottish Investment Bank and private investors.

This latest funding round brings the total raised so far to £2.8m.

The company intends to use funds to continue to expand its business reach targeting new markets in Northern Europe.
