Many cyber experts have welcomed the President’s signing of the Cyber Crimes Bill with some saying it’s the correct response to the current dangers we are finding ourselves in. One of the things experts are highlighting is that the bill criminalises the distribution of “harmful” data messages on social media apps. One wonders how many social media users understand what this means?
