(BEYA Seminar 2919) Cyber Defense in a Changing Landscape

Learning Objective: Participants will partake in an interactive discussion with decisions-makers in the government, military and business sectors to understand how to handle current issues of finding talent, privacy, mitigating incidents, homeland security and defense. Participants will be able to gain better insight into how real cyber executive leadership defend and protect our nation in an ever-changing cyberspace.

At what point can security be seen to be completely covered? Most security executives want more, but are limited based on talent, funding, and capacity. But for our executive panel, the solution to security is even more complex. They counter various decisions that even when the smallest detail is missed it could cost more than anticipated.

At the end of this discussion, participants will be able to:

a. Gain the understanding on how cybersecurity is evolving within the in the government and military

b. Prepare those interested in getting into information security

c. Share success stories of securing our nation assets against threats
