Iowa State men's basketball lost Milan Momcilovic nine days ago to injury, and in the three games that have been played since, the bench has stepped up, with Demarion Watson claiming more minutes and Curtis Jones stepping into a starting role, leading to wins in two out of the three games since then.

Iowa State women's basketball remains hit or miss, struggling against West Virginia over the weekend, leaving the Cyclones winless in Morgantown. The Twister Sisters bounced back with a dominating win over BYU on Wednesday night, weathering a storm early before winning by 23.

Iowa State wrestling returns to the mat tonight at Beauty and the Beast against the 22 ranked Oklahoma Sooners, who remained a part of the Big 12 in wrestling while other sports went to the SEC. Iowa State consistently performs well against Oklahoma in duals.
