Join us for D20 Date Night: Discussions, where we take a look at a beloved Disney movie through the lens of Dungeons and Dragons. We'll identify the main characters and discuss which class(es) fits each best. We'll review the overall goal(s) of the adventuring party, as well as the setbacks they encounter. In our first episode, we will discuss Frozen. 

We'll examine their interactions with different NPCs and how these advance the story, and we will analyze the overall conflict and final resolution of the film. We'll cover the encounters, whether those are combat, role-playing, or problem-solving. And, of course, we'll spend some time on any quest rewards or magical items that make an appearance.

In Episode 1, we focus on the 2013 hit, Frozen. This film tells the story of two sisters, Elsa and Anna.

Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
