Following the success of their debut album just a year earlier, Kriss Kross released the 2nd album Da Bomb in 1993. Rappers Mac Daddy and Daddy Mac attempted to shed their child-like rap image by going towards a harder, West coast type of sound, with edgier lyrics and production. Though it did not sell as well as their first, it remains underrated and the perfect album to cruise to.
