In this episode I ask Dad where his love for music truly began — and it takes us through some of his favorite chapters of life. He talks about being a teenager trying to play guitar (even though, as we both admit, neither of us has any real musical talent), and how his years in the United States and Brazil opened his ears to completely new styles and rhythms.

We also talk about our shared love for country music and laugh about the coincidence that we recently listened to almost the same songs without knowing it. Even “Whiskey in the Jar” by Metallica came up — definitely on the harder side for both of us.
