This episode was inspired by Father's Day a holiday that isn't always so positively viewed among people. Everyone has a story related to their parents, and for this show, we wanted to hear from people who grew up with absent fathers. Artist Jenny Perez and Andres Gil were on the show to share their stories about their relationships with their dads. For Jenny, it was the inconsistent presence of her father in her life, for Andres, it was missing out on a relationship with his dad for the first twelve years of his childhood because of incarceration.
