This week the Dads shared a chilled American Lager called Tan Limes from Cape May Brewing Company. A lighter beer with only a 4.5% ABV, this beer reminded both hosts of a Corona with lime and agreed that it's a great beach beer for the summer season. The Dads then talk about their weeks, with both having nothing special occur at all this week and both having very boring, mundane weeks.
The show then transitions to it's reading segment from their handy-dandy Dad guide, ‘Be Prepared: A Practical Handbook for New Dads’. This week's reading started from page 92-94, and was titled 'Resuming a Sex Life?'. After some interesting bullet points from the book, the dads had some good jokes and then segued the show into the main topic of the night and the data dump.
Dadding Under The Influence: We all have known some parents who aren't keen on the idea of drinking in front of their children, while others don't see the harm in doing it. Knowing the prevalence of alcoholism in our society and the side effects of it, it’s not a wonder why individuals carry such a high standard in regard to exposing their own children to watching themselves drink – whether it be copiously or moderately. With some resources we found, we’re going to dive into what is and isn’t acceptable and discover a balance of enjoyment and over-indulgence.
The show then shifts to "Shit-uations" with some hilarious readings by Josh from FML.com. He really found some dark and messed up FML's this week -- someone should check in on Josh and make sure he's okay lol. The show then wraps it up with a social media roll call.
