Part 2 of my Sunday Daddy Disco set from BUNKER In Washington DC (Aug. 6th, 2k23)... this was honestly a very difficult set for me to play. It followed a celebration of life for a person who was a member of the BUNKER family; he was a new friend in my life... and someone whose wedding I had played just one year earlier. The doors opened to the public at 9 p.m. when many of his closest friends and loved ones were still gathered. It was very difficult for me to find a balance between getting the party going and thinking about trying to honor his memory. I ended the set on a special somewhat somber note, in tribute to him. I'd like to send special love and appreciation through this set to all of my incredible DC family.
