I had initiated the reunion call, and, sometimes, feel divided. Did I really need closure? Or was it cultural, familial, or societal pressure that makes you believe you’ll regret not talking to your deadbeat dad before he’s actually dead. To be honest, I was curious and still in a cloud of wonder and grief; what if there was a world where he could love me? After all, I thought I loved myself enough. Thus, I prepared for the reunion by doing the one thing every Zellennial does when they are about to meet a boomer: people search them.
