In Japanese, there is a term called Meraki, and it means essence, something Liam was very good at hiding from himself. At the time of meeting him, I very arrogantly presumed I had healed myself because I no longer wanted to feel pain. Yet, healing is not the same as numbing, but I was always taught, by my dad, that silence and how you keep things in is some form of healing and not rotting.
