Daft Punk Breaks Up After 28 Glorious Years (And More ENTERTAINMENT News)

Listen Later

Here's something cool. Spotify has announced a new podcast hosted by Barack Obama and Bruce Springsteen called Renegades: Born in the USA. Or as Trump supporters call it -- Born in the USA, question mark?

Listen up, Daft Punk fans. After 28 glorious years, the French electronic music duo, known for wearing helmets on stage and acting like robots, have finally called it quits. Wait, we're still in a pandemic, this isn't the time to stop wearing your masks! I guess at least now they won't get confused for ATMs anymore. Personally I can't wait for the movie about their future reunion - Backdaft!

This made me sad. Lady Gaga's French Bulldogs were kidnapped and the dog walker shot and seriously injured, but a good samaritan found the dogs and returned them safely to her. When Gaga asked the good samaritan if there was any way she could repay him, he said "I just wanna look at you".
Big news in the world of golf: Tiger Woods got in a horrible car crash, breaking both of his legs, but luckily he is now on the mend. Apparently he lost control when his car hit a rare pothole in one. Golfers everywhere are calling it his worst drive since that 120-yard shank in 2003.
Finally, the Peacock streaming service has announced a new competition show based on the "Frogger" arcade game, made famous when George Costanza tried to move one across a busy street. Come on Peacock, if you're gonna do a competition inspired by Seinfeld, you gotta do "The Contest". A masurbation-themed game show where four friends try to hold out to determine who is master of their domain. Fun for the whole family!
