Daily Ambient

Today you're sitting on the corner of 61st avenue and...something. In Oakland, California. Listen to the cars idle at the stop light then accelerate through. You might catch the tail end of a conversation from a passing pedestrian.

Hello.

This is Daily Ambient.

A daily ambient sound podcast.

For sleeping. Or studying. Or whatever...

I'm Mike Lawson. Friday, July 5th.

Let's go hang out in a small park today. For an hour, you'll hear the sounds from a tiny parklette in San Francisco in the early morning. You're going to hear a lot of birds singing to one another and some light traffic.

Drop me a line and let me know that you're out there. Is this thing on? Visit MrMikeLawson.com/dailyambient. Okay. Here we go.

Happy Independence Day in the United States. Just in time for your picnic, I've got over 30 minutes of ambient sound from a nice peaceful park in Walnut Creek, California way before all the neighborhood kids have woken up. Birds sing. There may be a passing ambulance or traffic.

If you loved this one or if you hated this one. Let me know. Head over to MrMikeLawson.com/dailyambient to send me an email or voicemail. Okay. Here we go.

Long one.

Today's really long ambient sound is from my back yard. Listen to ambient sound from the surrounding neighborhood. There is some humming buzz say. Lots of birds talking to one another. The track is about an hour and a half. I can see that there are people downloading this...but I haven't heard any feedback. Let me know if you'd prefer longer tracks. Head over to MrMikeLawson.com/DailyAmbient and give me your feedback. You can also find some links in the show notes where ever you're listening to this show. Okay. Here we go.

Today is a clusterfuck of sound. A real hodgepodge from my very home. Someone's working with power tools. A distant baby cries. Are those birds mating? A real bizarre 45 for you today.

Hey...want to hear more or less of something. That's the kind of feedback I want to hear. Visit MrMikeLawson.com/dailyambient and share your thoughts with me. Okay. Here we go.

I'm Mike Lawson. Today is Monday, July 1st.

Welcome to July. Since the weather is so nice, we are headed out to the park again today. You expect to hear some birds chirping and the distant hum from the street traffic. You may also hear some of the park employees stacking wood pallettes a few yards away.

Give me your thoughts and suggestions. Visit MrMikeLawson.com/dailyambient.

Hope you don't hate birds. Today you've got 45 minutes at a park in North Oakland. Are the birds saying something you can understand? Let me know...mrmikelawson.com/dailyambient. Okay. Here we go.

We have another street scene today. This time we are listening to some Oakland traffic. These are cars inching along during afternoon rush hour. You'll hear some brakes squeek. Some engines hum. What else do you hear?

Give me your thoughts and suggestions. Visit MrMikeLawson.com/dailyambient.

Today you'll be sitting on a kind of busy corner in Oakland, California. It's about 10am on a weekend. Most of the cars are delivering people to social activities. You'll hear a few delivery trucks screech by as well.

I'm Mike Lawson. Today is Thursday, June 27th.

Today we got twenty minutes of the lunch rush inside of a food court near the office building of a big tech company in downtown San Francisco. It's filled with conversations. A few screeching stools. A great daily ambient.
