We are waiting. Waiting for a vaccine. Waiting for economic relief. Waiting for a loved one to get better. Waiting for schools to open. For things to be back to some sort of normal. Waiting for freedom. How can we worship or orient ourselves around God when there is such a felt need for deliverance? The Israelites were waiting for 400 years for the Messiah to come. Mary was one of those people. How can we, like Mary ready ourselves for the coming of the Lord?
