Lives lived in light of the future
I don’t know if you heard the two fathers speak, the dads of the two students who were murdered in the recent Nottingham attack. It was tough to hear – and just reminded me how quickly life can change for us. One moment, all can be well, normal – the next, an event, some news, a change can shake us to the core. Life can change in an instant.
Of course, as a church family, we are amongst people who are experiencing life-changing events at this time - medical emergencies, sudden deaths, breakdowns, job loses – relationship breakdowns – can all strike without warning, leaving us realing. Life changed forever.
We must be a community that supports each other through such times.
