Tame that tongue!
There is a famous saying; sticks and stones can break my bones, but names can never hurt me. To be honest, that just isn’t true. Often, words that have been used against us years, decades ago, can still sting, hurt, shape us, and cause us harm. Perhaps more deeply than a physical attack.
The tongue, undoubtably is a weapon. It can start wars, lead to a breakdown in relationships, leave families torn apart.
As we continue our work through the early chapters of James, let’s hear what he has to say to those early Christian believers –
