Modern-day Evil

This week we are thinking about the nature of evil. Yesterday we had a chance to reflect on temptation which might lead to an act that could be described as evil. I think most people would accept the existence of evil. They may talk about someone that they would describe as evil – for example someone who has committed a crime that shocks everyone. Or something they are made aware of like a family that is suffering food deprivation which they might describe as a modern-day evil.
