Family Expectations
Yesterday, we started to think around the idea that God is our heavenly Father – not an austere Victorian figure to be avoided – but a Father/Daddy/parent who can be approached confidently – A father who knows us and loves us, encourages us, challenges us, disciplines us – provides for us.
This knowledge should encourage our prayer life – encourage our faith life.
We are going to think during the rest of the week about how this amazing, privileged relationship should affect how we live our lives, how we relate to one another as children of Father God.
