Let’s have a look at the experiences of two men who spoke with Christ during Holy week and how “Encouragement” plays its part.
First, we will read Luke 22 vs 31 to 34.
“Simon, Simon, … I have prayed for you that you will not lose your faith! Help your brothers be stronger when you come back to me.”
But Peter said to Jesus, “Lord I am ready to go with you to prison and even to die with you!”
But Jesus answered: “Before the cockerel crows this day you will say three times that you don’t know me.”
You might think this is discouraging but remember how the conversation started. “Help your brothers when you come back to me.”
