Downtrodden

Ever had one of those times in your life when you felt so downtrodden and low you just needed someone to pick you up and to set you on your feet again?

Like when a young child, who has fallen over, our first instinct is to get them up again and treat their cuts and bruises. Or someone who just needs a strong arm around them to take the next step until, eventually, they are strong enough to do so themselves. Resurrection is about raising people up from their lowest point and to provide the strength for them to be able to stand for themselves and become all that God has created them to be.
