In Matthew 6:5, Jesus calls out people who pray to be noticed by other people. It’s tough not to struggle with making prayer all about us, but Jesus calls us to get out of our own way so we can really experience great prayer with God.

Challenge: spend 10 minutes in prayer. Make God the main character of the prayer. Talk to him about what you enjoy and admire about him. Tell him what you’re grateful for about him. Thank him for being him.
