Do you struggle with prayer? A lot of Christians do, but even if you have a strong prayer life, here’s a word for you! Jesus ends what we call “The Lord’s Prayer” by telling us to pray, “Lead us not into temptation, and deliver us from evil.” Being a follower of Jesus is a constant battle between doing the right thing and loving God and our neighbors versus the temptation to be selfish and act out in so many ways. Temptation is hard, but Jesus promises to help us fight against temptation and even catch us with forgiveness when we fall into temptation.

Challenge: Pray this Lord’s Prayer. It’s just Matthew 6:9-13. Read it out loud, and after you pray over temptation, pause to pray about the things you’re tempted by right now. Even pray about the ways you’ve given into temptations and ask God to forgive you and help you move forward in His grace.
