We often talk about the evidence for believing in God, but what about the evidence for others to believe us? When attacked by the religious leaders, Jesus offers the testimony of John the Baptist and of God, both Father and Spirit. If nothing else, it should be clear that God is at work through Jesus' miracles and teachings. What might others see in us? What is the evidence that we can be trusted because God is at work in and through us?

When Jesus is attacked by the religious leaders, he says that they should trust the testimony of others -- John the Baptist and God the Father.

- Jesus points to the works his Father gave him to do (miracles and teachings) to show that the Father has sent him. How do you look at others to discern whether they are working for God or for someone or something else?

- Avoiding false humility or pride, what have people seen in you as evidence that God is at work? What do you hope that people might see more in you in the future?
