Jesus continues to teach his disciples that if we are to follow him, we must learn to be faithful in ways rooted in humility. We must take sin seriously (especially when we lead others into sin) and we must also take forgiveness seriously. In the end, we are servants of God and faithful obedience is its own reward, leading to abundant life!
