God desires to fulfill our needs in ways that lead to flourishing. Too often, we choose to take shortcuts and attempt to fulfill those needs with easier substitutes that end up harming or controlling us. The secret to true freedom and saying "no" to these false substitutes is to say "yes" to the Spirit.
