Jesus selects his first disciples and we can discern a pattern in his approach. Jesus starts with the question, "What do you want?" and to each question or objection, a simple answer is offered: "Come and see!" What do you want from Jesus? Are there others whom you might invite to come and see?

Jesus' approach to discipleship is very simple yet challenging to our assumptions.

- Jesus asks the first two disciples, "What do you want?" They initially take this question at a surface level but Jesus will lead them far deeper. What do you want from following Jesus? How has Jesus led you to deeper desires over time?

- Jesus' approach to discipleship is both relational and experiential, "Come and see!" How might this simple approach to evangelism and discipleship affect how you seek to lead others to Jesus? Who might you ask to "Come and see!"?
