Jesus wants us to embrace humility. To stoop, bend, take the low-totem-pole position. The place we wouldn't choose, if it were up to us.

Jesus' humility is a surprising and beautiful gift to us.

Consider this: The King of the World humbled himself to be human. The One who created the world endured dirt, sweat, pain, and heartache for you.

He came in a time without modern conveniences, internet, phones, even electricity. He was born into a poor family and never lived a life of ease.

Though he was innocent, he was mocked, spit upon, beaten and put to death.

He did all this for you...would you be that humble for anyone else?
