Day 18 of this daily devotional explores God's protection through Psalm 91:1-2, Isaiah 43:2, and John 10:28-29. The world can feel dangerous — turn on the news and you'll hear about natural disasters, crime, and economic uncertainty. The psalmist uses beautiful imagery: dwelling in the shelter of the Most High isn't about physical location but spiritual position. When we live in conscious dependence on God, we find refuge that no earthly shelter can provide. But notice something important in Isaiah's promise: it doesn't say you won't go through waters or fire. It says when you do, God will be with you. And Jesus' words give us ultimate security — no circumstance, no person, no spiritual force can separate us from God's love and care.
